Gyoza, fried young chicken & serious machi-chuka — an izakaya in Sakae, Nagoya
Tonight, let’s go gyoza.

Juice-bursting gyoza. A cold sour. Tonight, it’s gyoza in Sakae.
A short walk from Sakae Station in Naka-ku, Nagoya. In a lively neo taishu sakaba, our star is the juice-bursting “Bakujiru Gyoza.” One bite and the juices burst out — and the next sip just keeps coming.
Alongside it, drink-paired gyoza (beer, lemon sour, highball) at 460 yen each — the Highball Gyoza is the signature that keeps the glasses moving.
Join as a member and, in your birthday month, we treat you to gyoza equal to your age — our “Age Gyoza” perk. With a bargain Happy Hour and 12:00 opening on weekends and holidays, it’s perfect from a solo daytime drink to a party with friends.

The “seriously tasty” way to eat our drink-paired gyoza
Four steps to enjoy Nagoya drink-paired gyoza to the fullest.
-
01

First, take a bite “as is”
Crisp outside, juicy inside — first enjoy the fragrant skirt with nothing on it.
-
02

Pair it with its “designated” drink
Highball Gyoza with a highball; the spicy Beer Gyoza with a draft. Match each gyoza to its drink.
-
03

Change it up with the designated dips
Switch things up with each gyoza’s designated dip — it keeps you reaching for one more.
-
04

Finish with Kamura’s Jiro-style ramen
End with our long-awaited Jiro-style ramen — the perfect finish to a night of gyoza and drinks.
Tip: eat the Bakujiru Gyoza piping hot, in one bite, to catch all the juices.
